Pomeranz dazzles in win over Nationals

Drew Pomeranz dazzled in his victory over the Nationals on Friday, allowing just a single to Bryce Harper and a pair of walks over 6 1/3 scoreless frames.
He also punched out six in the very impressive outing. Pomeranz was the jewel of last season's Ubaldo Jimenez trade and oozes talent and potential. With as bad as the Rockies rotation has been recently, they could certainly use the type of boost Pomeranz could provide. He's now 1-3 with a 3.06 ERA and 27/20 K/BB ratio over 35 1/3 innings on the season, and is worth a look in deeper mixed leagues, especially for his road starts.
