UFC on FUEL TV 3 is in the books, so that means it's time to look at what's in store for Tuesday night's big winners and losers.
Chan Sung Jung: Winner of Jose Aldo-Erik Koch.
"The Korean Zombie" has an incredible amount of momentum following his win over Dustin Poirier, and since there isn't a top contender at 145, this only makes sense.
Dustin Poirier: Loser of Jose Aldo-Erik Koch.
Since I expect Erik Koch to lose to Jose Aldo on July 21, and since Poirier and Koch have been calling each other out for more than year, this fight would be a great rebound fight for both young men.
Donald Cerrone: Mark Bocek.
I still believe the UFC will figure out a way to book Anthony Pettis vs. Nate Diaz, which leaves Cerrone without an opponent. I can see the promotion then booking him against Jim Miller or Mark Bocek, and I think Bocek is due for a high-profile fight.
Jeremy Stephens: Jim Miller.
Both fighters are coming off tough losses. This is a very difficult fight for Stephens considering he's lost two in a row, but such is the life of a UFC lightweight.
Amir Sadollah: John Hathaway.
I like this styles match-up a lot.
Yves Jabouin: Mike Easton.
These two bantamweights were supposed to meet at this event until Easton had to pull out of the fight due to an injury. I would like to see them try to book this one again.
Other match-ups to make:
Igor Pokrajac vs. winner of Kyle Kingsbury vs. Glover Teixeira
Tom Lawlor vs. Brad Tavares
UFC President Dana White (above) embarrassed after Gray Maynard beat Clay Guida by split decision to win a lightweight bout and the main event of the UFC card in Atlantic City.
Can anyone top the big three of Silva, Jones, and GSP as the best pound-for-pounder fighter?
CALGARY, Alberta (AP) - Renan Barao won a unanimous decision against Urijah Faber at UFC 149 Saturday night for his 19th straight victory.
