  • BAL Running Back #27
Dobbins has been cleared for football activities after suffering a torn Achilles in Week 1 last season. The former second-round pick has been among the most efficient running backs in the league when healthy, but a torn ACL in 2021 followed by last year’s injury could prove detrimental to his playing future. Dobbins, 25, would reunite with former Ravens teammate Gus Edwards if he and the Chargers are able to come to terms on a deal.
  • KC Running Back
Rees-Zammit is a 23-year-old Welsh rugby player who joined the NFL’s International Player Pathway Program earlier this year. He visited the Browns, Jets, Broncos, and Chiefs, impressing the Chiefs enough to sign him. Rees-Zammit has played rugby in Wales, England, and internationally. The reigning champion Chiefs now add him with the intent of trying to play him at running back and/or wide receiver.
  • CAR Linebacker #24
Ian Rapoport was first with the scoop and Adam Schefter later added the contract details. Clowney most recently played in Baltimore, racking up 9.5 sacks and nine TFLs in his only season as a Raven. Now a mercenary, Clowney has played for four different teams in five years since finishing out his rookie contract with the Texans. Even at 31 years old, Clowney is still a top-end pass-rusher. He will join a Carolina front seven looking to retool after a disappointing 2023 campaign.
  • JAX Running Back #4
“We have to get Tank going, the bottom line. He is too good, that’s why we drafted him. I think early he had some ‘what is that’ type plays for whatever reason right or wrong. Again, in and out of the lineup,” Pederson said. “He is a young player that we’re excited about. Like we talked about last year, we take some burden off of Etienne [RB Travis Etienne] a little bit, keep him healthy for the remainder of the season.” Pederson told NBC Sports’ Matthew Berry last month that the team would cut down Etienne’s workload in 2024 after he racked up 325 touches in 2023 — more than any running back besides Christian McCaffrey. Bigsby was a disaster during his rookie campaign. He was benched for large swaths of the season after costly turnovers early in the year. Bigsby played just 141 snaps and had 50 carries for Jacksonville last season. The Jags, who took Bigsby in the third round of the 2023 NFL Draft, seem intent on giving him another chance in 2024.
  • CLG Quarterback
Pierce and the Raiders brass are among the handful of teams meeting with LSU QB Jayden Daniels after LSU’s pro day on Wednesday. The Las Vegas Review-Journal’s Vincent Bonsignore said Daniels — who weighed in at 210 pounds during his pro day — is the “embodiment of the quarterback Pierce hated to defend but would love to build around in Las Vegas.” Pierce’s desire for a mobile quarterback makes one wonder why the team didn’t pursue Justin Fields. The Raiders, who have the 13th pick in the 2024 draft, would have to trade into the first three or four picks to secure Daniels as their franchise quarterback. Such a move would only happen if the Patriots or Commanders traded out of their current draft slots — an exceedingly unlikely proposition for two QB-starved organizations.
  • LAR Cornerback #27
The Bills released White this offseason to free up cap space after he tore his Achilles in Week 4 of the 2023 season. A former first-round pick, White started off his career strong, with first and second-team All-Pro honors under his belt to add to two Pro Bowls. However, he tore his ACL in 2021 and has appeared in 21 games over the last three seasons. The Rams now add White on a one-year deal, worth up to $10 million. Presumably, the Rams are comfortable with bringing White back from the torn Achilles and he gets a prove-it deal to return to form.
  • BAL Running Back #27
Pelissero reports that Dr. Neal ElAttrache wrote a letter to teams saying Dobbins has been cleared and looks “outstanding”. Currently a free agent, Dobbins tore his Achilles in Week 1 of the 2023 season. He was initially drafted by the Ravens in the second round of the 2020 draft, but has appeared in just 24 games over four seasons. Dobbins also suffered a torn ACL to miss his entire second season. The ACL/Achilles tear history will make getting a lead role difficult for Dobbins, but when healthy, he has averaged 5.8 yards per carry. Dobbins is expected to take visits soon and could make a comeback as a complementary option in a backfield for 2024.
  • ATL Running Back #84
The 33-year old do-it-all player will head to his sixth NFL team after latching on in Pittsburgh. Patterson is coming off his best years with the Falcons and now will provide depth as an RB, WR and kick returner. He’ll now get to once again work with Arthur Smith who clearly believes he still has something left in the tank. With the new kickoff rules, Patterson will be more valuable to the Steelers than originally thought. He’ll slot in behind Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren.
  • GB Running Back #8
“I think the first thing that jumps off to me is just his play style,” LaFleur told reporters on Tuesday, adding that he was not involved in signing the veteran after Green Bay parted ways with Aaron Jones. “Like he is tough, hard-nosed. He can be a high-volume guy. Just studying him, I think there’s more out there for him in regards to the passing game, using him out of the backfield. He’s put some really good choice routes on tape. That’s something we always try to get to. We’ve done it a little bit more down in the red area. But I love the person, just being around him in that brief time when he came into Green Bay.” With 37 receptions over 13 games last year in Vegas, Jacobs was 19th in yards per route run among running backs. Jacobs in 2022 caught 53 passes and ranked 20th in RB yards per route run. If he fills Jones’ role in Green Bay’s offense, Jacobs should be in the 50-reception range in 2024. Despite recent drop off in efficiency, Jacobs should be a top fantasy back as the Packers’ workhorse. The Athletic’s Matt Schneidman said there’s a chance AJ Dillon — who recently re-signed with the Packers on a one-year deal — might not make the team this summer. Only nine running backs in 2023 had a worse rush yards over expected than Dillon, per NextGen Stats. One of those backs was Jacobs.
  • TEN Wide Receiver #0
It’s quite the statement from Callahan, Cincinnati’s former offensive coordinator. A Chase-like role for Ridley in 2024 would mean more intermediate pass routes and more routes from the slot. It would represent a marked change over his role in the Jaguars offense, where he mostly ran deep sideline routes and saw low-percentage targets from Trevor Lawrence. Being used across the formation — not just the boundary — and seeing more middle of the field targets would dramatically change Ridley’s fantasy profile in 2024. It would be a welcomed change for the veteran wideouts, who this month said he wants to “run all the routes” in Tennessee’s offense.
