Tom Milone combines on three-hit shutout

Tom Milone pitched three-hit ball for eight innings and combined with Grant Balfour on a shutout of the White Sox on Tuesday.
AL hitters certainly haven't figured out Milone's assortment of soft serve yet. He matched his career high with five strikeouts tonight and walked no one. He's given up just one homer in 27 innings while opening the season 3-1 with a 2.00 ERA. He can't maintain this pace, but he might surprise for a while longer.
