
Citing two league sources, the Denver Post reports that the Broncos have "expressed interest in acquiring" Asante Samuel from the Eagles.
Per the Post, the Broncos are pessimistic about a deal, however, after making two proposals to Philadelphia. One involved a fifth- or sixth-round pick, and the other a player currently on Denver's roster. The Eagles turned both offers down. With the draft less than a week away and Philly's sense of urgency growing, it's still possible that trade talks could be rekindled.
