Rickard Rakell made his NHL debut Saturday night against the Canucks.
The 19-year-old played 9:49 and had two shots on goal, while slotting on the Ducks' fourth line, a spot coach Bruce Boudreau said may be where he stays during his five-game look because he's a "responsible" player. For Rakell, it was a dream come true. "I shouldn't say surprised [to have made the team] but I'm happy with what I've achieved so far and that they gave me the chance," Rakell said. "Now it's just up to me to show them that I can play at this level."
