Braves general manager Frank Wren reiterated Wednesday that Arodys Vizcaino is penciled in as a member of the bullpen next season.
Vizcaino, 21, made his major league debut as a reliever this past season and posted a 4.67 ERA and 17/9 K/BB ratio over 17 1/3 innings. While he has a promising future as a starter, Wren thinks he's better off pitching in the bullpen for now. Baseball America recently ranked the hard-throwing right-hander as the No. 2 prospect in the Braves' organization.
