1. ACKNOWLEDGMENT:  By registering to participate in the ADT Golf Skills Challenge Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) on http://ADTChallenge.nbcsports.com (the "Website") and by checking the "I have read and agree to the rules of the Sweepstakes” box on the registration page, you ("you" or "Entrant") acknowledge that you have read these Official Rules (the "Rules"), understand them and agree to be bound by all of the terms and conditions and any amendments hereto. Entrants further agree to waive any right to claim any ambiguity or error in the Rules, or the Sweepstakes itself.

2. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: You must be a permanent, legal United States (“U.S.”) resident physically residing within the fifty (50) U.S. or the District of Columbia (residents of Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands and any other U.S. territory or possession are excluded from entry and participation) and eighteen (18) years of age or older and the age of majority in your jurisdiction of residence as of December 1, 2011. Entrants must also have either a valid social security number and/or a valid U.S. personal tax identification number. Officers, directors and employees of Sweepstakes Entities (as defined below), members of their immediate families and households (including children, parents, siblings and their spouses, regardless of where they live, and/or persons living in the same households as such persons, whether related or not) are not eligible to enter or win. Sweepstakes Entities, as referenced herein, shall include NBC Sports (“Sponsor”) and NBCUniversal Media, LLC, both at 30 Rockefeller Plaza, New York, NY 10012, Creative Zing Promotion Group (“Administrator”), 189 S. Orange Avenue, Ste. 1130A, Orlando, FL 32801, ADT Security Services, Inc. (“ADT”), 1501 Yamato Road, Boca Raton, Fl 334431, and each of their respective parent, subsidiary and affiliated companies, their administrative, advertising and promotion agencies, the prize providers for the Sweepstakes and any other entities involved in the development, administration, promotion, or implementation of the Sweepstakes. The Sweepstakes is void where prohibited, and is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations.

3. ENTRY PERIOD: The Sweepstakes begins at 5:00 PM ET on Thursday, December 1, 2011 and ends at 11:59 PM ET on Saturday, December 31, 2011 (the “Sweepstakes Period”). All times in the Sweepstakes refer to Eastern Time (“ET”).

4. HOW TO ENTER: To enter the Sweepstakes during the Sweepstakes Period, visit the Website and then follow the instructions provided to complete and thereafter submit an entry form by providing your name, email address, mailing address, daytime phone number and date of birth (referred to herein as “Entry” or “Entries”). All Entries become the property of Sponsor, and will not be acknowledged.

All Entries must be received by 11:59 PM ET on December 31, 2011 to be eligible for the Sweepstakes. Sponsor’s computer shall be the official timekeeper for all matters related to this Sweepstakes. You may enter one (1) time for a total of one (1) Entry per person or email address during the Sweepstakes Period. Multiple Entries received from any person or email address beyond this limit will void all such additional entries. For the purposes of these Official Rules a “day” will start at 12:00:01 AM ET and end at 11:59:59 PM ET. Entries generated by a script, macro, or other automated means will be disqualified. Entries that are incomplete, garbled, corrupted, or unintelligible for any reason, including, but not limited to, computer or network malfunction or congestion, are void and will not be accepted. In case of a dispute over the identity of an entrant, the authorized account holder of the email address used to enter will be deemed to be the entrant. “Authorized account holder” is defined as the person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. Entry constitutes permission (except where prohibited by law) to use entrant’s name, city, state, likeness, image, and/or voice for purposes of advertising, promotion, and publicity in any and all media now or hereafter known, throughout the world in perpetuity, without additional compensation, notification, permission, or approval. 

5. PRIVACY: Entrants will have the opportunity to receive information from the Sponsor, and selected partners by checking the appropriate box(es). If, at any time, you no longer wish to receive materials from the Sponsor, or our partners, please go to the appropriate privacy policy, located at http://nbcsports.msnbc.com/id/23114206 , or the applicable partner’s privacy policy and follow the procedures indicated.

6. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION: On or about January 4, 2012, seven (7) second prize winners (“Second Prize Winners”), two (2) first prize winners “(First Prize Winners”) and one (1) grand prize winner (“Grand Prize Winner” and together with First Prize Winners and Second Prize Winners will be referred to herein as “Winner” or “Winners”) will be selected in a random drawing by employees or representatives of Sponsor or Administrator from all eligible Entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. Sponsor will make two (2) attempts to notify potential Winners at the phone number and/or email address submitted at the time of Entry, within approximately five (5) business days of January 4, 2012. If any potential Winner cannot be contacted within seventy-two (72) hours of the first notification attempt or a potential Winner chooses not to accept his/her Prize (as defined below), then the potential Winner will be disqualified and another potential Winner will be selected from the remaining eligible Entries received. Potential Winners may be required to execute and return an affidavit of eligibility, release of liability, and, except where prohibited, publicity release (collectively, “Sweepstakes Documents”) within three (3) days of such notification. Noncompliance within this time period will result in disqualification, and, at Sponsor’s sole discretion an alternate potential Winner may be selected from the remaining eligible Entries. If a potential Winner cannot be reached, is found to be ineligible, cannot or does not comply with these Official Rules, or if prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, potential Winner will be disqualified and time permitting, at Sponsor’s sole discretion, an alternate potential Winner may be selected from the remaining eligible Entries.  Limit one (1) prize per family or household.

7. SECOND PRIZE: There will be seven (7) second prizes (“Second Prizes”) awarded, one (1) Second Prize to each Second Prize Winner. Each Second Prize will consist of the following: one (1) NBC Sports gift bag. Estimated retail value (“ERV”) of each Second Prize is ($70). ERV of all Second Prizes is four hundred ninety dollars ($490).

8. FIRST PRIZE: There will be two (2) first prizes (“First Prizes”) awarded, one (1) First Prize to each First Prize Winner. Each First Prize will consist of the following: one thousand dollars ($1,000) in the form of a check made payable to First Prize Winner or in some other form as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. ERV of each First Prize is one thousand dollars ($1,000). ERV of all First Prizes is two thousand dollars ($2,000).

9. GRAND PRIZE: There will be one (1) grand prize (“Grand Prize” and together with “First Prize” and “Second Prize” will be referred to herein as “Prize” or “Prizes”) awarded to Grand Prize Winner. The Grand Prize will consist of the following: two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500) in the form of a check made payable to Grand Prize Winner or in some other form as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. ERV of Grand Prize is two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500).

Prizes will be awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied by Sponsor. ERV of all Prizes is four thousand nine hundred ninety dollars ($4,990). Any difference between stated ERV and Actual Retail Value (“ARV”) of Prizes will not be awarded. All details of Prizes will be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a similar Prize (or Prize element) of comparable or greater value at its sole discretion. Except as otherwise stated above, all taxes and other expenses, costs, or fees associated with the acceptance and/or use of Prizes are the sole responsibility of Winners. Prizes cannot be transferred by Winners or redeemed for cash and are valid only for the items detailed above, with no substitution of Prize by Winners. Sponsor will furnish an Internal Revenue Service Form 1099 to the Grand Prize Winner and First Prize Winners for the ARV of the Prize for the tax year in which Prize was awarded.

10. CONDITIONS: By entering the Sweepstakes, each entrant agrees for entrant and for entrant’s heirs, executors, and administrators (a) to release and hold harmless Sweepstakes Entities and their respective officers, directors, and employees (collectively, “Released Parties”) from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from such entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes and/or his/her acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of Prize or any portion thereof; (b) to indemnify Released Parties from any and all liability resulting or arising from the Sweepstakes and to hereby acknowledge that Released Parties have neither made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to Prize, including express warranties provided exclusively by Prize supplier that are sent along with Prize; (c) if selected as a Winner, to the posting of such entrant’s name on Website and the use by Released Parties of such name, voice, image, and/or likeness for publicity, promotional, and advertising purposes in any and all media now or hereafter known, throughout the world in perpetuity, without additional compensation, notification, permission, or approval, and, upon request, to the giving of consent, in writing, to such use; and (d) to be bound by these Official Rules and to waive any right to claim any ambiguity or error therein or in the Sweepstakes itself, and to be bound by all decisions of the Sponsor, which are binding and final. Failure to comply with these conditions may result in disqualification from the Sweepstakes at Sponsor’s sole discretion.

11. ADDITIONAL TERMS: Sponsor reserves the right to permanently disqualify from any promotion any person they believe has intentionally violated these Official Rules. Any attempt to deliberately damage the Sweepstakes or the operation thereof is unlawful and subject to legal action by Sponsor, who may seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law. The failure of Sponsor to comply with any provision of these Official Rules due to an act of God, hurricane, war, fire, riot, earthquake, terrorism, act of public enemies, actions of governmental authorities outside of the control of Sponsor (excepting compliance with applicable codes and regulations), or other “force majeure” event will not be considered a breach of these Official Rules. Released Parties assume no responsibility for any injury or damage to entrants’ or to any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from entering or downloading materials or software in connection with the Sweepstakes. Released Parties are not responsible for telecommunications, network, electronic, technical, or computer failures of any kind; for inaccurate transcription of entry information; for errors in any promotional or marketing materials or in these Official Rules; for any human or electronic error; or for Entries that are stolen, misdirected, garbled, delayed, lost, late, damaged, or returned. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the Sweepstakes or any element thereof (including, without limitation, these Official Rules) without notice in any manner and for any reason (including, without limitation, in the event of any unanticipated occurrence that is not fully addressed in these Official Rules). In the event of cancellation, modification, or suspension, Sponsor reserves the right to select Winners in a random drawing from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received prior to the time of the event warranting such cancellation, modification, or suspension. Notice of such cancellation, modification, or suspension will be posted at Website. Sponsor may prohibit any entrant or potential entrant from participating in the Sweepstakes, if such entrant or potential entrant shows a disregard for these Official Rules; acts with an intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other entrant, Sponsor, or Sponsor’s agents or representatives; or behaves in any other disruptive manner (as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion). 

12. DISPUTES: The Sweepstakes is governed by, and will be construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of New York, and the forum and venue for any dispute shall be in New York, New York. If THE controversy or claim is not otherwise resolved through direct discussions or mediation, it shall THEN be resolved by FINAL AND binding arbitration administered by JUDICIAL ARBITRATION AND MEDIATION SERVICES, INC., in accordance with its Streamlined Arbitration Rules and Procedures or subsequent versions thereof (“JAMS Rules”). The JAMS Rules for selection of an arbitrator shall be followed, except that the arbitrator shall be experienced and licensed to practice law in new york. All proceedings brought pursuant to this paragraph will be conducted in the County of new york. THE REMEDY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL BE LIMITED TO ACTUAL DAMAGES, AND IN NO EVENT SHALL ANY PARTY BE ENTITLED TO RECOVER PUNITIVE, EXEMPLARY, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING ATTORNEYS’ FEES OR OTHER SUCH RELATED COSTS OF BRINGING A CLAIM, OR TO RESCIND THIS AGREEMENT OR SEEK INJUNCTIVE OR ANY OTHER EQUITABLE RELIEF.

13. WINNER LIST: For the name of Winners, available after January 14, 2012, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to be received by March 14, 2012 to: “ADT Golf Skills Challenge Sweepstakes" Winner List, The Plaza South Tower, 189 S Orange Ave, Suite 1130A, Orlando, FL 32801. Vermont residents may omit return postage.
