Gerald Green has an opportunity to secure the backup shooting guard role now that he's back in the rotation.
Green has played 19.5 minutes or more in each of the last two games, and he's averaging 17.5 points, seven rebounds and 3.5 3-pointers over that span. "We keep talking to Gerald about making the right system plays," Frank Vogel said. Green needs to improve his game on both ends within the flow of the overall game plan, but he's taking baby steps in the right direction. Rookie Orlando Johnson has remained in the rotation despite Green's return.
