Report: Lakers expect Pau Gasol to be cleared

Pau Gasol (foot) will have an ultrasound on Tuesday, but Mike D'Antoni expects him to be cleared to return to practice.
Gasol is undergoing an ultrasound after reporting soreness following a recent 2-on-2 workout, but D'Antoni talked of using Wednesday and Thursday in practice to "reintegrate Gasol," so both the Lakers and fantasy owners will be hoping for good news. We'll know more after the ultrasound and should have a clearer timetable at that point. The earliest Gasol could return is Friday against Washington.
