Wesley Matthews suffered an apparent right ankle injury in the third quarter of Friday's game against the Jazz and will not return.
He had an X-ray and the results were negative. Matthews was driving to the basket and he suffered an ankle inversion, then immediately grabbed his ankle in pain and had to be helped off the court by Jared Jeffries and J.J. Hickson. He was replaced by Luke Babbitt and he should be considered doubtful to play against the Jazz on Saturday.
