Mike D'Antoni "didn't discount" the idea of resting Pau Gasol (knee tendinitis) at some point.
The move would be designed to rest Gasol's knees. While the tendinitis doesn't sound like a serious issue, it's obviously limiting Gasol in some fashion while he's on the floor. He's shooting a career-worst 42 percent with averages of 12.6 points, 8.8 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.2 blocks. Antawn Jamison would obviously see an uptick in minutes if Gasol sits, with Jordan Hill also likely seeing some extended time as well.
