There are reasons to be skeptical about this report. The way it's written, Rose's return to on-court action is "still up in the air," and although it states Rose "could" return to practice in "just weeks," there is also a possibility that doesn't happen. There has been nothing to suggest that Rose will be back before the All-Star break, and he remains targeting a return between February and March. Tom Thibodeau added at practice that Rose has been running sprints for "for weeks," but he's not anywhere close to a return.
