If Jaromir Jagr re-signs with the Dallas Stars, it will probably be a one-year deal.
Jagr turned 41 on Feb. 15, so that's not too surprising. "In my mind, I don't want to sign too long, because if I play bad, I don't want to be stuck someplace and I don't want to hurt the team," Jagr said. "The whole key is I want to be someplace where I can help. If I play [bad], I don't want to do that to somebody. If I play good, I can always sign." If the Stars don't like their chances of re-signing Jagr, they might opt to trade him before the April 3 deadline.
