Sources: Sather needs prostate cancer surgery

According to three sources close to him, New York Rangers president and GM Glen Sather will undergo surgery for prostate cancer Thursday.
Assistant GM Jeff Gorton represented the team at the NHL general managers meetings in Toronto Wednesday. "Almost all of Glen's business is done on the phone anyway," a source said. "He just doesn't want anybody to make a fuss over him." If this report is true then we wish him the best in his recovery following his procedure.
