Stefan Matteau's first NHL season is over as the New Jersey Devils demoted him back to the juniors
Really, it makes sense because the 2012 first-round pick seemed to jump ahead of line a bit earlier than many expected, anyway. Players cannot be recalled from the junior level during the regular season, so if he's on your team for whatever reason, let him go.
