Malkin doesn't play in OT because of UBI
Evgeni Malkin - C - Pittsburgh Penguins
March 9, 2013 - 10:40 PM ET

Evgeni Malkin was held out of overtime because of an upper-body injury.

The Penguins say this was strictly precautionary and was "not a head injury," though it's only natural to worry a little more than normal because he just got back from a concussion. The injury occurred on a hit by James van Riemsdyk. Malkin had an assist in 19:36 of ice time.
