Pekka Rinne earns NHL-leading fourth shutout
Pekka Rinne - G - Nashville Predators
March 8, 2013 - 10:40 PM ET

Pekka Rinne saved all 24 Oilers shots in a 6-0 victory on Friday.

Rinne now leads the NHL with four shutouts this season. He had previously allowed four or more goals in four of his last five contests, so this shutout comes as a bit of a relief. Perhaps it will mark the end of his cold streak and the start of a new strong patch. Rinne also ended his three-game losing streak to bring his record up to 9-8-4 this season.
