Report: Stars attendance rises 32% in 2013
Glen Gulutzan - C - Dallas Stars
March 7, 2013 - 10:00 AM ET

The Dallas Stars have enjoyed a 32% increase in attendance this season.

That's reportedly the greatest growth rate in the NHL, although their average attendance of 17,673 still isn't terrific by the standards of their Western conference competition. All the same, it's an encouraging development for the Stars, especially seeing as this spike in interest in coming despite the team's 11-9-2 record. Dallas is a bubble team when it comes to their playoff chances, but they have enough veteran leadership and overall talent to surprise if they do make it into the postseason.
