Carey Price lets out some emotion at practice
Carey Price - G - Montreal Canadiens
March 7, 2013 - 7:10 AM ET

Carey Price vented some of his frustration out on his goalposts during Wednesday's optional practice.

After being beaten several times in a shootout drill he whacked his stick against the post until it broke, which isn't typical of the normally calm and collected 25-year-old goaltender. Price has surrendered 12 goals against in his last two outings and he's eager to rebound in his next start, which is likely to come Thursday at Carolina. "I hope that I'm playing, but I haven't talked to (coach Michel Therrien) and I'm not sure what the plan is," Price said. Montreal plays back-to-back games against Tampa Bay and Florida this weekend, so it's probable that backup Peter Budaj could start one of the those matches.
