Claude Giroux continues torrid stretch

Claude Giroux notched a goal and an assist as the Flyers defeated the Capitals on Wednesday night 4-1.
Giroux began the year pretty slugglishly, but he's on an absolute tear right now. The Flyers captain has points in six straight games, multiple points in five of them -- good for a total of 12 in that span. Max Talbot, Simon Gagne and Wayne Simmonds potted the other markers, while Scott Hartnell had two helpers.
