John Tavares keeps up pace for goal lead
John Tavares - C - New York Islanders
Feb. 24, 2013 - 10:30 PM ET

John Tavares registered a goal and an assist Sunday night in the Islanders' 4-2 loss to the Hurricanes.

At this point, it's a major disappointment if Tavares doesn't find the score sheet. Just 22 years old, Tavares is already showing that he's one of the best players in the game. He's tied for the league lead in goals with 13 and his 25 points are good for fourth. Considering he is New York's offense, that is even more impressive. Linemate Matt Moulson also had a two-point night, with a goal and an assist to give him 23 points on the year. These two represent the most dangerous duo in hockey right now.
