Malkin departs after crashing into boards

Evgeni Malkin departed Friday's game against the Panthers in the third period after taking a nasty fall into the boards.
Malkin was flying down the left wing when defenseman Erik Gudbranson pushed him, causing him to lose his balance and slide into the boards back-first. His head also swung back upon impact with the boards. Malkin was down on the ice for a few minutes before getting up on his own, but he did end up leaving the game.
