New Jersey recalls newly-acquired Loktionov

Andrei Loktionov has been called up from the minors by New Jersey.
He was acquired from Los Angeles last Wednesday for a 2013 fifth-round draft choice and the Devils coaching staff will get a chance to see him in action. "We wanted to bring him in and just see where he's at," GM Lou Lamoriello said. "He played two games [with AHL Albany] and he played extremely well. We'll give the coaching staff a chance to see him the way they've seen all the other players." He took part in Wednesday's optional practice and may make his New Jersey debut as early as Friday against Philadelphia.
