Boychuk doesn't have a point yet with Pens
Zach Boychuk - W - Pittsburgh Penguins
Feb. 12, 2013 - 10:05 AM ET

Zach Boychuk doesn't have a point in six games since being claimed off waivers from Carolina by the Pittsburgh Penguins.

He has spent most of his time as a Penguin on a line with Evgeni Malkin and James Neal, but has been unable to generate any statistical results. "He's been able to create for that line and made some good plays with that line but hasn't been able to finish them," coach Dan Bylsma said. "I think he does add to that line, but obviously it hasn't turned into a point. That's what kind of resonates with you when it comes to evaluation." Boychuk has six shots and a minus-2 rating since joining Pittsburgh. It may be time to cut him loose if you haven't done so already.
