Alex Ovechkin scored his fourth goal of the season during the third period of Washington's 5-0 win Saturday night.
Ovechkin has now scored in back-to-back games for the first time this season and has points in four straight games. More importantly, it was Ovechkin's first even-strength goal of the year and owners have to hope this is a sign that he's beginning to break out after a brutal start to the year. Troy Brouwer also scored twice Saturday night, while Mathieu Perreault and Joel Ward each had a goal and an assist in the win.
