Nikita Nikitin uncertain for Tuesday's game

The status of Nikita Nikitin (upper body) for Tuesday's game will likely determine whether the Blue Jackets call up a defenseman from Springfield of the AHL.
Nikitin sustained the ailment earlier in the week and missed Saturday's contest with the Red Wings as a result, but the injuries suffered by James Wisniewski will keep him out of the lineup for the foreseeable future, which leaves the Jackets shorthanded on the back end.
