Panthers erupt after after being called soft

The Florida Panthers scored six goals Thursday night after coach Kevin Dineen called them soft in a meeting and then to the media earlier in the day.
The Panthers have struggled to score goals after making the last season and Dineen has been very blunt in his criticisms. Injuries to Kris Versteeg (groin), Ed Jovanovski (knee) and Stephen Weiss (groin) certainly haven't helped matters, either. Versteeg returned Tuesday and Weiss could be back this weekend, so it's possible the defending Southeast Division champions will get back on track as they get healthy.
