Eric Staal's hat trick paces Hurricanes

Eric Staal recorded a hat trick for the Hurricanes in a 6-3 win over Buffalo Thursday.
It was just a matter of time until one of the league's best players broke out of his funk and the elder Staal held up his end of the bargain with a plus-3 rating and seven shots on goal. Jeff Skinner contributed with a pair of goals while Justin Faulk also found the back of the net for the Canes.
