Ben Scrivens experienced a rough night against the Islanders by allowing five goals on 25 shots in a 7-4 loss.
Any momentum Scrivens might have generated by starting the season's first two games now seems lost, especially when you consider that James Reimer looked sharp in defeating the Penguins on Wednesday. Reimer entered tonight's contest in place of Scrivens in the third period and stopped seven of eight shots.
