Philadelphia's 0-3 start to the 2013 season marks the third time since the franchise began in 1967-68 that the team has dropped their first three games.
The Flyers offense has sputtered out of the game with a mere three goals so far. Their power play has also failed to click, scoring just one time on 15 opportunities. "It has to be better, that's for sure," said newly minted captain Claude Giroux. "I like our group. I like our attitude. We didn't stop playing. We just have to stay with it and bounces will start going our way."
