Justin Schultz and Nail Yakupov each scored their first NHL goal in Edmonton's 6-3 loss to San Jose on Tuesday night.
Schultz and Yakupov provided bright spots for the Oilers in an otherwise disappointing effort. Both the goals came on the power play. Yakupov finished a minus-2 on the night, but Schultz was a respectable even rating considering the result. Schultz also received over 23 minutes of ice time, which was more than any other Oiler on the night. Look for Edmonton to continue relying on these talented rookies and they should be solid fantasy options moving forward.
