Jack Capuano was back behind the bench for Monday's win over Tampa Bay after he missed Saturday's game because of emergency surgery to remove kidney stones.
The Islanders built a 4-0 lead in the contest before hanging on for a 4-3 victory. "It wasn't anything structural, it was just battle level," said Capuano. "I also thought we looked a little tired there." New York will have a little time to regroup and catch their breath though, as they don't play again until Thursday when they are in Toronto.
