Matt Calvert makes Blue Jackets roster

Matt Calvert started on the fourth line for Columbus Saturday.
It was a bit of a surprise as heading into the shortened training camp, Calvert was not favored to make the team. But his play forced him into the lineup alongside Jared Boll and Derek McKenzie. The trio played well in the win over Nashville on Saturday as Colton Gillies and Mark Letestu were healthy scratches and will likely remain so on Monday when the Blue Jackets take on the Red Wings.
