Scott Gomez involved in Sharks skate

CSNBayArea.com's Kevin Kurz reports that Scott Gomez participated in the San Jose Sharks' morning skate, but doesn't have a contract - at least yet.
He's still being evaluated by the team. It's easy to forget that he was once one of the NHL's better playmakers, although he's likely to play more of a depth role if the team does ink him to a deal. If nothing else, it's an interesting story to follow.
