Could Scott Gomez be headed to Sharks?

Scott Gomez has narrowed his list to only Western Conference team(s) and Sportsnet's Nick Kypreos calls the Sharks the "best bet."
The Devils had showed interest, but Kypreos says they've dropped out. Because he will sign for a bargain and no team that brings him in will be on the hook for his $7-plus million cap hit, Gomez figures to be a low-risk addition for whichever club agrees to terms with him.
