The Canadiens cut seven players before their practice Friday, but, as expected, the No. 3 overall pick in the 2012 draft was not one of them. "I was very happy," Galchenyuk said. "There's been no better feeling in my life so far. ... I won't lie and say I didn't feel any pressure. Obviously this is my first camp and being their first pick in the last draft, so I felt a little pressure going in. But I think I handled it pretty good."
