Trade deadline, free agency dates released

This season's trade deadline will be April 3 and free agency for next year will open July 5, according to ESPN's Pierre LeBrun.
With a later start and shortened scheduled, there were going to have to be some adjustments here. To put it in perspective: Last season's trade deadline was Feb. 27, and July 1 had been the beginning of free agency.
