Jared Boll: Time in Europe was 'beneficial'

Jared Boll ended his time in Finland's second division late last month in anticipation of the end of the lockout.
"I was hearing rumblings about things maybe starting so I wanted to come back," he said. He averaged about 25 minutes of ice time, while posting three points and 31 penalty minutes in five games with TuTo. "It definitely helped," Boll said. "I wanted to be playing and be in game shape as soon as possible. It was real beneficial and I think guys that are over there playing are going to be ready to go as soon as they get back."
