Union, owners to meet on Monday

The NHL and NHLPA opted not to meet on Sunday, but they plan on some face-to-face negotiations on Monday.
Could the sides pop some champagne as New Year's approaches? Feel free to also make some "resolution to actually play NHL hockey"-type jokes, too. In all seriousness, the two sides need to get moving, so the hope is that tomorrow's talks are productive even if they don't fix everything then.
