Yankees reassigned Cs Jesus Montero and Austin Romine and OFs Colin Curtis and Reid Gorecki to minor league camp.
The hype around Montero is reaching a fevered pitch in New York, and deservedly so, considering his .317/.370/.539 year at Double-A last year. At the same time, there's work to be done defensively and the team still needs to figure out his long-term position. Both he and Romine should make it to the majors relatively soon. Curtis played well during camp, and could be up again this year considering the Yankees' left-field situation.
