Mariners' Figgins to start season at 2B

The Mariners confirmed Sunday that prized free agent acquisition Chone Figgins will start the season at second base and Jose Lopez will move to third.
Manager Don Wakamatsu said he was pleased with their progress and wanted to make the move official. The Mariners have been talking about moving Lopez and his mediocre range off of second base for a while, and Figgins' versatile glove finally gave them the impetus to do so. This decision will add eligibilities (and therefore value) to two decent fantasy players.
