Sidney Crosby is getting less optimistic about the status of the 2012-13 NHL season.
"I wouldn't say I'm as optimistic as I was last week, but I'm still trying to hold on," he said after another workout at Southpointe. "I don't think anyone can really describe how frustrated they are at this point. We've been through it for a while now." Crosby is worried that the two sides haven't been talking enough, but it's been hard for the NHL and NHLPA to agree on some major points of emphasis in order to end the lockout.
