The sides met on Monday for the first time in eight days and the meeting lasted less than two hours. "We'd like to know where (the NHLPA is) on all the issues and we asked them to think about putting together a comprehensive proposal for us to consider," NHL deputy commissioner Bill Daly said. "It's our position (that) we've made a couple comprehensive proposals in a row.
