Darren Helm to get cast off next month

Look for Darren Helm (arm) to have his cast removed next month.
Helm suffered lacerated tendons in his right forearm when cut by the skate of Alexander Radulov during Game 1 of the first round of the playoffs over three weeks ago. The restricted free agent to be will most likely re-sign with the Red Wings who value the bottom six forward as he is able to score 10-plus goals per year and play great defense. He should be ready to go for the start of training camp although his lack of offensive numbers will make it hard to draft him in anything but the deepest of fantasy pools in 2012-13.
