Alexander Burmistrov's agent, Mark Gandler, said that his client is staying with the Winnipeg Jets despite a report that he's been offered a contract by the KHL's AK Bars Kazan.
"We have no interest in making it happen," Gandler said. "If people in Edmonton want to print gossip from the Russian papers without checking sources... all it takes is two minutes to make a phone call. They obviously didn't do their homework." Alexander Radulov, who recently rejoined the Predators, previously, left the team while still under contract to play in the KHL. However, the NHL and KHL now have an agreement to respect each others contracts.
