Dampier inactive for series opener

Erick Dampier will be inactive for Saturday's Game 1 against the Sixers, and Zydrunas Ilgauskas will start at center for the Heat.
Spencer Hawes could end up being an 'X-factor' for the Sixers if he can force the Heat to play the rangy, but stone-handed Joel Anthony. And while the Heat project to win at least one playoff series, none of the centers in Miami project to have too much value in playoff leagues.
