It's been 100 years since Cubs fans were able to celebrate a World Series title. So we asked them the question: What would you give up to guarantee a championship?

I'd be willing to fly home from Iraq/Kuwait just to watch a game or two. Especially if they were playing the Sox!!!
— Robert Kotek

I'd give up, my right arm, my left arm, my third toe, 3 Bulls Titles, 1 Bears Title, 1/2 my baseball cards, my home run baseball I got at a game, the shirt off my back, my pants, my socks, my shoes, I'd shave my head and buff it with car wax, my autograph of Dick Butkus, all my Christmas presents, wear my Cub hat everyday for the rest of the year, pray and give thanks to Lou Piniella everynight for the rest of my life, and I'd give up Swing dancing for a week (maybe 2).
—Jon Moody

I suppose my life. When asked if I could be granted one wish, my response has always been "To see the Cubs win the Series before I die." I hope my days are numbered.
— NorthSide Turf

I would give up chocolate forever, if it meant I would never hear my husband cry about the Cubs again!
— Meagan Jones

I will donate one of my kidneys to a Green Bay Packer Fan.
— Gerry Jalove

I would give up my wife, family, job, and anything else of value to me........then live on a secluded island wearing my cubs jersey and cap and just relive and dream about the day the Cubs finally win it all!!!!! My grandparents never had a chance to see them win and I want to live their dream!!!!!
— Dan

Being a long time Cub fan with still vivid memories of the '69 season,I'd offer New York to Iran for a Cubs series victory... and shea stadium should be dismantled, loaded on a ship, and sunk in a part of the ocean where there is a minimal chance of it polluting the rest of the free world!!!
— G.P.Smith

The Yankees.
— Ian Barbo

I am a true blue, life long Cub fan and my father was before me. He died in 2000 at age 78 and NEVER got to see them win a World Series. I would like for my sons to never have to say this to their kids. As far as what I would give is simply a big THANK YOU. They don't need anything and I do not need nor have anything to give up. I just want the best team in baseball that hasn't seen success in the World Series to finally win it all. Go Cubbies!!!! make all the true blue fans proud.
— Dave Stallkamp

My first born child. I figure my odds of being able to procreate again have to be better than the Cubs odds of winning a World Series Title.
— Brian

Nothing. I want to hold onto the lovable loser tag. Maybe the fact that we all go to the park and drink instead of working means we are just losers though.
— Harold
