Hip hop artist accuses NBA star of stalking, threatening with bodily harm

Hip hop artist Maryjane, whose real name is Alexis Miller, has been granted a temporary restraining order against Shaquille O'Neal, the Atlanta Journal Constitution reports.

Miller filed the restraining order in Atlanta, accusing O'Neal of stalking her, threatening her with bodily harm and making harassing phone calls.

The newspaper reported that the 23-year-old Miller claimed she ended a relationship with the 36-year-old O'Neal last month. She says he then threatened to pay performers $50,000 each not to work with her.

Both parties are scheduled to appear before Fulton County Superior Court Judge Karen Woodson on Sept. 4 to determine whether the restrictions will remain in place.
