The NBA's Oklahoma City franchise will reportedly use the nickname Thunder.

The former Seattle SuperSonics will be known as the Thunder, KOCO-TV reported Saturday, citing a source in team ownership.

The station confirmed that the registrar for all of the NBA's Internet domain names reserved okcthunderbasketball.com and okcthunderbasketball.net on July 10.
